Looking back on this year, I am overwhelmed with appreciation for the residents in the 38th Ward. I am proud to be the Alderman of such a generous community. Your contributions for St. Cyprian Food Pantry, Support the Police T-shirt sales, Toys for Tots, and the pets at Chicago Animal Care and Control make a huge difference in many ways. Thank you all so much for donating to all of these worthy causes! I wish everyone a healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year!

In observance of New Year's Day, the 38th Ward Office will close at 2pm on Friday, December 30th and will be closed on Monday, January 2nd. Our office will reopen at 9am on Tuesday, January 3rd. There will be no City services on the 2nd due to the holiday. Please be sure to have your black and blue carts out and accessible throughout the week to allow Streets and Sanitation crews to service them.

If you are in need of a take home Covid test or KN-95 masks, the 38th Ward Office has tests and masks available for current and new 38th Ward residents. Tests and masks can be picked up by visiting our office at 3821 N Harlem, Monday through Friday, 9am to 4:30pm. Tests and masks are available while supplies last and residents will be asked to provide proof of 38th Ward residency.
