November 2nd Update

I am holding a Community Meeting on Wednesday, November 15th regarding a proposed Cannabis Dispensary at 5900 W Irving Park. The meeting will be held at the Portage Park Senior Center, 5431 W Berteau and will begin at 6:00pm. Please enter through the Portage Park parking lot on Berteau.

I am hosting a Flu & Covid Vaccine Clinic on Thursday, November 9th at Hiawatha Park from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Click HERE to reserve your vaccine. You may arrive anytime between 11am and 3pm but wait times are typically longer at the start of the event. Please spread the word to your family, friends, and neighbors!

Do you have leftover Halloween candy? Bring it to the 38th Ward Office and we will donate it to the St. Cyprian Food Pantry. Our office is always happy to accept non-perishable food donations for our local food pantry. Thank you!

Daylight savings time ends at 2:00am on Sunday, November 5th. Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour when going to bed Saturday night and enjoy an extra hour of sleep! This is also a great time to change the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
