March 7th Update

Dear Friend,

Join us for a Drive-Up Visit with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 23rd from 11:00am to 1:00pm in front of the 38th Ward Office at 3821 N Harlem. The Easter Bunny will be happy to take a photo with you and he is bringing treats for the kids! In addition to the Easter Bunny visiting, we will be collecting food for our local food pantry, St Cyprian. Please help those in need this Easter by bringing non-perishable food donations for St Cyprian. We look forward to seeing you at our Drive-Up event!

COOK COUNTY PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS

Exemption applications for tax year 2023 are now available online and at the 38th Ward Public Service Office. If you have any questions, contact us at 773-283-3838. Please note: exemptions are only reflected on your second installment property tax bill. The automatic renewal of some exemptions due to COVID-19 has ended. This means that those receiving the "Senior Freeze" and Veterans with Disabilities Exemptions must reapply this year. For more information on property tax exemptions, please visit the Cook County Assessor's website.
