September 15th Update

Dear Friend,

I want to thank all of the residents who called our office regarding the storm. We have been fielding calls since Sunday and documenting every call that experienced backup in their basement. Portage Park was hit especially hard, please know that I am reaching out for help and answers on your behalf. Streets and Sanitation is working hard to clear the alleys, continue to discard water damaged items along with your regular garbage. If you had water backup in your basement after last Sunday's storm and have not reported it to the City yet, please call 311 or my office at 773-283-3838.
