Dear Friend, 

The first day of school for many of the students in the 38th Ward is Monday, August 22nd. Please keep this in mind while driving, especially when school buses are loading and unloading children. Driving with caution through a school zone keeps everyone safe. I hope all of the teachers, students, and staff have a great first day back and a successful school year! 

Support the Police T-shirts are available for purchase at the 38th Ward Office, 3821 N Harlem, Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm. Prices of T-shirts size small through XL=$10, size 2XL=$12, size 3XL=$14. All proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts will go to 16th District Police Fund, Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, and Garrido Stray Rescue Foundation.

Please look out for no parking signs. Cars that are not moved on street sweeping days prohibit the sweeper from thoroughly cleaning the street. Also, tickets will be issued to cars not complying with the no parking signs. Thank you for your cooperation.
