Alderman Reilly in the News

Alderman Reilly was featured in a recent Crain's Chicago Business article regarding Bally's decision to retain former Mayor Lori Lightfoot's law firm as it explores potential legal action against the City of Chicago over the expansion of video gaming terminals.

The dispute centers on the City's approval of video poker and other electronic gaming devices at bars and restaurants while Bally's is constructing its permanent casino. Alderman Reilly criticized the optics of former Mayor Lightfoot representing Bally's in a potential lawsuit against the City, given her administration selected Bally's to receive Chicago's sole casino license.
