Member-only reduced price for Congress registration extended to May 22!

We’ve noticed the excitement surrounding this year's Congress and also that some of you may have lost track of the special, discounted registration link that has been circulated to members. So the special member registration rate has been extended through Wednesday, May 22.

Our Congress theme – Water on the Frontlines for Peace – calls us to advocacy and action for water for people and the Earth. In the early 2000s, the WILPF US Water Campaign focused on opposing bottled water. That campaign united the issues of safe drinking water and ending plastic consumption. Now, nearly 20 years later, rapacious capitalism fuels theft of water, and widespread wars. Corporate-driven climate upheavals drive migration, leading to xenophobic campaign soundbites, as many parts of the planet are no longer able to support even subsistence farming on inundated or water-starved lands.

Take a moment today to register for the Congress to hear the latest strategies for protecting both water, essential for all life on Earth, and peace, essential for civilized human life.

This is the last time you’ll receive this link!

You received it on the Congress invitation postcard sent out in April. Use this link now to get the special early bird rate for WILPF members: $55 for the entire Congress!

Join us in the many interactive events planned for this Congress: cultural, conversational, and educational, including films. Of course, WILPF branches and issue committees will also be presenting in plenaries and breakout rooms. Please take a look at the Congress Program.

Our motivating and knowledgeable speakers include Mary Grant of Food and Water Watch; Tamara Lorincz, a powerful voice from WILPF Canada, active with the WILPF International Environmental Working Group; and international activist, Osprey Orielle Lake, author of The Story Is in Our Bones: How Worldviews and Climate Justice Can Remake a World in Crisis.
