HELP AFGHAN REFUGEES
Be part of the LGBTQ+ community's response by making a donation to RWF's Afghan Emergency Fund.  Help us provide assistance to refugees escaping immanent danger from in Afghanistan.

Your donation will be used to provide aid for the resettlement of Afghan refugees including emergency shelter, financial assistance, mental health services, and coordinated care to survivors of torture and trauma. 100% of your donation will fund these life saving actions. 

We are working with our on-the-ground-partners in the Middle East to identify LGBTQ+ Afghan refugees to help meet their specific needs.

ACTION ALERT: Demand a robust response from the US government to accept and help Afghan refugees.

Contact your U.S. Senators here and call the U.S. Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and urge them to take action to invest in peace not wars!

Call the White House at (202) 456-1111 and leave a message on the Comments Line, available Tuesdays thru Thursdays from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. EST.
HAITI - EMERGENCY EARTHQUAKE AID
RWF has been funding humanitarian projects in Haiti since 2004. On August 14, 2021 a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck Haiti - 2,207 have died, 350 are missing and thousands have been injured. Over 138,8000 building were damaged or destroyed leaving thousands homeless. Be part of the LGBTQ+ community's response by making a donation to RWF's Haiti Emergency Fund.

VOLUNTEER IN SAN FRANCISCO - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 3 & 10 - HELP LGBTQ+ REFUGEES
Throughout October, we will be raising funds to help LGBTQ+ refugees.

Join us Sunday, October 3 at the Castro Street Fair! The RWF Rainbow Bus will be parked at Castro & 18th Streets from 11 am to 6 pm. The Bus' interior lounge will be open for visitors.

Join us Sunday, October 10 National Coming Day at the inaugural SF Pride LGBTQ Freedom Day Festival! The RWF Rainbow Bus will be parked in the Mission on Valencia Street (between 18th and 21st Street) from 11 am to 6 pm.

We will be raising funds at both fairs for the many programs we support that help LGBTQ+ refugees.

Please stop by the Bus to make a donation and get a rainbow bracelet or bandanna. You can also make a donation online here 100% of your donation will fund life saving actions for refugees. 

Volunteer: We are recruiting for volunteers to be hosts in the Bus' lounge and at our information table for both fairs. Shifts start at 11 am and go to 6 pm and run from 90 minutes to 2 hours. Volunteering is a great way to celebrate your Pride! To volunteer, please send us a message and let us know your availability.
