All Aboard The STEM Bus!

Hurricane students will participate in school-wide STEM activities during our student activity period on a rotating schedule. This will occur every 2nd week of our 4-week activity schedule.

High school activity period is between 2nd and 3rd block. The period is set at 30 minutes.

Middle school activity period is the last 25-30 minutes of the day.

The mission of the JCSD Transportation Department is to provide safe and efficient transportation services to all students. We want to send our deepest appreciation for every member of our transportation team. 

We are elated to announce that our Transportation Shining Stars are shining bright! Currently, Jasper County School District has nineteen (19) Bus Drivers and two (2) Bus Monitors as follows:

Hardeeville Campus: 6 Full-time Drivers, 4 Staff Drivers, 1 Bus Monitor

Ridgeland Campus: 9 Full-time Drivers, 1 Bus Monitor

It is the goal of our Department of Transportation to ensure that the time that students are on the bus is minimized, and the late duty for teachers, due to double routes, is eliminated! Oh, our Transportation Shining Stars are rockin' and rollin'!

Our school board and superintendent place a high priority on serving our students the most nutritious meals possible, with really adequate portions for growing brains and bodies. We follow USDA regulations and state guidelines in our Child Nutrition Program and in many instances go beyond their standards. 

We could not possibly accomplish this goal without our dedicated Food Service Staff. Please join us in expressing our gratitude for their hard work and service to our students and staff.
