A critical consideration for immunizations is if they are safe and effective for pregnant and lactating populations. Important research has been conducted in this space, but much work remains to be done. The Coalition to Advance Maternal Therapeutics (CAMT), administered by SWHR, aims to better understand the safety and efficacy of prescription drugs, therapeutics, and vaccines used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Vaccinate Your Family

Vaccinate Your Family has spent over 30 years increasing access to, and information about, vaccines across the lifespan.

The Vaccination Collaborative is their latest initiative to bring together advocates to address ongoing access and communication issues as the country continues to face lower routine vaccination rates. They also invite those who have been affected by vaccine-preventable diseases to join the SQUAD ^TM (SQuaring Up Against Infectious Diseases).
