Legal wrangling continues over Florida gambling initiative A Leon County circuit judge refused to dismiss a lawsuit alleging that entities backed by the Seminole Tribe are illegally interfering with workers trying to gather signatures for a proposed constitutional amendment that would allow casino gambling in North Florida. Please don’t feed the starving manatees. It is actually against the law in Florida. Feeding manatees could be a form of harassment, which is illegal under both state and federal law, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Florida portal helps workers file complaints against vaccine mandate ban violators Florida employees who want to file a complaint against their employer over vaccine mandates have a new online complaint form to do so.
