A Message from Steve Blackstock

Dear All Saints Parishioners,

Thank you so much for the grand send-off for my retirement on Sunday! Thank you also for your generosity both now and during the many years I have served this congregation. I have often said that I have the best church music gig in town, and your care and support for our family over these years will long be remembered. As Suzanne and I begin the next chapter in our life, I’d like to thank her for all these years of being such an excellent partner in this ministry, and in taking up my slack at home when I was at church playing multiple holy day services throughout the church year. Suzanne has been a church music widow for almost our entire marriage, so we are excited at the prospect of sitting together in church!

My hope for All Saints is that you continue to be a singing congregation, a praying congregation, a welcoming congregation, a congregation that consistently supports the arts, and a congregation that shows the face of a loving God to the Outer Banks Community.

Thank you for everything you have meant to our family and to me.

In Christ,

Steve

A Note About Building Systems

Our keyless entry system, fire alarms, and telephone system have all decided to remind us that technology, like the rest of creation, groans for redemption. We are aware of the problems and are working to resolve them.

In the meantime, thank you for your patience, compassion, and good humor as we work through these issues. We know they can be frustrating and inconvenient, and we are grateful for your understanding.

If you need access to the building while the keyless entry system is being addressed, you may check out a physical key. Please plan ahead and contact the church office in advance so arrangements can be made.

Contacting Father Tommy

As a reminder, please continue to use Father Tommy's email and telphone numbers. His calendar and email are managed with the assistance of our Parish Administrator, who will coordinate scheduling, appointments, and responses as needed. All communications are handled with appropriate discretion and strict confidentiality. For after-hours pastoral emergencies, please call the church office, select option 3, and follow the instructions to contact the Rector or the on-call Cleric.
