To provide affordable, comprehensive, high-quality health care to the entire community. | | | All Care Expands Access with Saturday Dental Services | | |
In response to the growing demand for accessible oral healthcare, All Care Health Center now offers Saturday dental appointments for patients of all ages. The new weekend hours are part of the health center’s ongoing commitment to improve access, especially for those enrolled in Medicaid or without insurance.
Leading the Saturday dental team are Dr. Jeffrey Clark, DDS, and Laura Ranney, RDH. With extensive experience serving diverse patient populations, Dr. Clark and Laura bring compassionate, high-quality care to individuals who may otherwise face barriers to receiving routine or urgent dental services during traditional weekday hours.
| | |
All Care Health Center accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicaid, and offers a sliding fee scale for patients without insurance based on household income and family size. Services include preventive care, exams, cleanings, x-rays, fillings, partial denture services, occlusal guards, and emergency dental needs. Root canal and extraction services are available based on individual evaluation.
Saturday dental services are offered at our 902 South 6th Street location in Council Bluffs, alongside medical and behavioral health care.
By expanding availability through weekend hours, All Care continues its mission of providing comprehensive, integrated care for everyone, regardless of ability to pay.
| | Keeping Our Patients in Focus | | |
All Care Health Center invites you to take part in our next quarterly Patient Focus Group—a chance to share your experiences, ideas, and concerns directly with our leadership team. We want to hear how easy (or hard) it is for you to get the care you need, what barriers you face—like transportation, cost, or language—and what’s working well.
Following the success of our March sessions, we're excited to host the second round of focus groups in May:
- Spanish-Speaking Focus Group: Wednesday, May 21, from 5:00 – 6:00 PM
- English-Speaking Focus Group: Thursday, May 22, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM
All sessions will take place at All Care Health Center, 902 South 6th Street, Council Bluffs. Refreshments will be provided, and no registration is required. As a thank-you for your time and insight, participants will receive a $25 Walmart gift card.
Your feedback helps us improve access, strengthen our services, and ensure every patient feels seen, heard, and supported. Together, we can shape a healthier future for our community.
| | Dr. Kristine McVea Designated Civil Surgeon | | | | |
Applying for a green card in the United States requires a medical examination performed by a doctor specially designated as a civil surgeon by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). We’re pleased to announce that Dr. Kristine McVea has received this designation and is now providing immigration medical exams (Form I-693) at our health center in Council Bluffs.
Our immigration physicals are all-inclusive and designed to make the process as smooth and affordable as possible. We’ve negotiated lower lab prices to save patients money, and each exam includes:
|
- A comprehensive review of medical history
- A thorough physical examination
- All necessary lab tests and screenings
- Required vaccines
- Clear guidance on any follow-up procedures
- Completion and proper sealing of the I-693 form for USCIS
| | |
Dr. McVea brings over 20 years of experience and is Board Certified in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. She is fluent in Spanish, and our clinic also offers bilingual staff and access to video interpretation in more than 100 languages to help every patient feel welcomed, understood, and supported.
Dr. McVea’s designation as a civil surgeon helps remove barriers to care for immigrants in our region—and we hope this service is a valuable resource for you and the individuals you assist.

| | Making a Difference in Patient Lives: Kristi's Story | | |
At All Care, every patient's journey is an opportunity to deliver meaningful care that reaches beyond clinic walls to meet real-life challenges with compassion.
Tracey, one of our dedicated Community Health Workers, recently shared an inspiring example of how powerful that care can be.
She met with a young woman, Kristi,* who urgently needed glasses but had no income to afford them. Tracey connected with a partnering nonprofit to help meet the financial need. Understanding Kristi’s application anxiety, Tracey accompanied Kristi to ease her fears. Sometimes, simply showing up with support makes all the difference.
| | |
During that meeting, an even deeper need surfaced: Kristi’s car needed repairs. Without reliable transportation, she was unable to continue her delivery job, a critical source of income.
Thanks to strong community connections and creative problem-solving, Tracey was able to arrange for the car parts to be purchased and secure a temporary bus pass to help Kristi until her car was fixed.
In just a short time, Kristi’s world shifted — not just because of the resources provided, but because someone cared enough to walk alongside her through the process.
