IT'S A "GO ON YOUR OWN" EVENT
THAT MEMBERS & FAMILIES MAY WISH TO VISIT.
Saturday, July 12, the Connecticut Air and Space Museum will present a special event exhibiting vintage and modern helicopters.
Many of the museum docents were Sikorsky engineers.
They'll help make the exhibit come to life.
Y's Man Jay Dirnberger will also be there for the duration - 10 am to 4 pm - as an informal guide to Y's Men and their families.
A former US Army helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War, Jay will be available to talk about pilot training, helicopter capabilities and their use in peace time and combat.
