Here's my latest article: All Hail Primo Villanueva

The 1954 Bruins allowed only one opponent to score more than seven points, posted five shutouts and outscored teams 367-40 on the road to the national championship.

Here's a short clip of legendary Coach Henry Russell "Red" Sanders appearing on an episode of You Bet Your Life with Groucho Marx that aired Nov 18, 1954. The question was "what's the most important thing for a coach?"

"Correle Primo, Correle!"

Primo! Primo! Primo!

National Championships: 1954 (1)

Primo fans can send a THANK YOU card to him at his Grandson's restaurant.
