Early Update on Start of School
Return to All In-Person
We hope you are enjoying the summer. Although we have a few more weeks to go, the start of the school year will be here before we know it.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in August! Our plan for the 2021-2022 school year is to have all students present in-person, no longer expecting students and teachers to video conference or stream classes. As usual, principals will be sharing back-to-school details in August, so please stay tuned, and enjoy the remainder of the summer season!
Vaccination Questionnaire & Technology Survey
Brief Vaccination Questionnaire
Respond by July 16
While we monitor cases and await guidance from public health agencies pertaining to mitigation strategies in the fall, we would like to gather some information about vaccination from our parents of children who are of age (12 and over). Please take a moment to complete the following anonymous questionnaire and submit it by
July 16, 2021:

The intent of the questionnaire is to determine how many students will be vaccinated against COVID-19 upon returning to school in August. Once we have that data, we can report the percentages to our Orange Schools Families.
Technology Survey
Respond by July 16
Please take a few minutes to complete this brief survey. Your responses are key in helping us plan and develop future Chromebook replacement cycles as well as potentially qualify for federal funding that will allow us to best serve the needs of Orange Schools students.

Please complete by July 16, 2021.

All Orange Schools families should complete this survey. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
Board Meetings Back to In-person
Legislation allowing for public meetings to be held via video conferencing expired July 1, 2021. Therefore, all Board of Education meetings will be in-person. Beginning with its July 12, 2021 regular meeting, the Orange Schools Board of Education will return to pre-COVID-19 procedures for its meetings, including regular meetings being audio recorded. The recordings will be posted on the District website (usually the next day), and the official written meeting minutes will be available online once Board approved.
