For many years, we’ve brought our dealers and customers unparalleled Radar performance in many shapes, sizes, and power outputs. Now, we’re pleased to introduce two new Radar displays for use with any of our current, award-winning X-Class or NXT Radars – the FR10 and FR12. Need a standalone Solid-State Doppler Radar? Now you’ve got one! Want to replace a dual-station Radar setup with a simple solution? Done! Like the performance of the X-Class Radar but not interested in an MFD solution? We’ve got the product for you!

The FR10 10.4" SVGA Radar display and FR12 12.1" XGA Radar display offer “mix and match” capability with any Furuno DRS X-Class or NXT Radar antennas. The FR10/FR12 along with the DRS Radar sensors offer superior performance and new features compared to previous models, such as the new Risk Visualizer (watch our First Look video to learn about this exciting new safety feature). They also offer the ability to be fitted on a wider range of vessels and in a broader range of markets, thanks to the expanded selection of Radar types.

The FR10/FR12 displays refine the user interface of the 18/19x5 and FR8005 series. The resolution is superior to previous models, and it shows. Recreational boaters can choose a 10.4” display and a 19” or 24” dome and have confidence they’re boating with a world-class Radar. For commercial users, the FR10/FR12 offer features such as boat and barge icons for towing applications, and Parallel Index (PI) lines for advanced Radar navigation. The target area of the FR12 is 184mm, so it’s large enough to meet USCG Category I or II carriage requirements for towing vessels under 300GT. The FR10/FR12 also have an HDMI output to larger LCD or TV monitors.

Limited quantities of the FR10 and FR12 are available for immediate shipment from our Camas, WA and Denton, MD facilities. The FR10/FR12 ultimately will serve as replacements for the 1835/1935/1945 Radars (FR10) and FR8065/8125/8255 Radars (FR12). The 18/19X5 and FR8005 Radars are still available, but quantities are limited. When supplies of the older models are exhausted, the FR10 and FR12 will be an excellent choice for anyone needing a standalone Radar.
