All Partners Meeting Announcement
Date Change!
Given scheduling conflicts and availability we've had to reschedule the CAZCA All Partners meeting for:

We look forward to coming together to collaborate, strategize and work towards further conservation and restoration of the region. More details coming soon. We hope to see you all there!
Progress and Updates

Greenprint Trainings
Since August, CAZCA and Sonoran Institute staff have held 3 trainings on CAZCA's natural infrastructure viewer. We continue to strengthen the tool and share it with key stakeholders in our community.

State of the Parks Report
Research for the report is well underway with preliminary results. We are currently engaging an advisory committee to hone the project.

Buffelgrass Blues
In conjunction with our partners the project aims to map invasive species at Piestewa Peak and educate the public on the threats invasives pose to our desert ecosystem. Learn more:

RestoreNet Project
With McDowell Sonoran Conservancy acting as lead partner, CAZCA aims to establish the first RestoreNet project in the Sonoran Desert and determine best restoration techniques for our region
Conservation Celebration Award Finalists
We are excited to announce the finalists for Desert Botanical Garden's 2019 Conservation Award!

The winner will be announced at the Conservation Celebration on Nov. 21, 2019 . The luncheon is presented by Desert Botanical Garden, and all proceeds support CAZCA. We hope to see you there!

Earth Summit 2020
Earth Day 2020 will mark the 50 th  anniversary of the annual celebration of nature and the challenges we face in protecting global ecosystems. In acknowledgement of this seminal year, the  Arizona Sustainability Alliance Arizona State University , the  Central Arizona Conservation Alliance , and the  City of Phoenix  are planning an Earth Day Summit on April 17 th , 2020. We are exploring various themes and are looking for leaders who can work with us to help organize this event to its fullest potential!
