Final Session: Wednesday, March 20 at noon

Overnight Prayer Vigil Before the Altar of Repose
|
Maundy Thursday, March 28 at 9 pm to Good Friday, March 29 9 am
"Could ye not watch with me one hour?"
Matthew 26:40
All Saints' will again follow the treasured custom of keeping vigil the hours in between the liturgy for Maundy Thursday and the morning of Good Friday. The prayer vigil begins Maundy Thursday at 9 pm, continues through the night, and concludes Good Friday at 9 am.
Those who sign up take turns spending an hour in quiet meditation and prayer, keeping vigil with our Lord. The inspiration for the vigil is from the Gospels of Mark and Matthew, when, in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus asks the sleeping disciples, "Could you not watch one hour? Watch and pray..." (Mark 14:38). This devotional practice has been a part of Holy Week tradition since the early church. Those who participate find it to be a meaningful time of prayer and devotion.
Email the church office with questions and/or to sign up for an hour at info@allsaintsglenrock.org.

Men's Summer Clothing Drive - New and gently used only
|
Collection ends Sunday, April 21
Drop off donations at church at the Sunday services or any day – follow the signs in the parking lot to the bin at the All Saints’ Chapel building.
Calvin Bushman, former parishioner and now youth director at a church in NYC, is organizing a men's clothing drive on behalf of the organization Midnight Run. He's collecting new and gently used men's spring/summer clothing drive for homeless men. The All Saints' Outreach Committee would like us to help, but the collection is very specific. They're looking for casual men's clothing. The most critical items are light-weight coats, durable pants, tee shirts (all colors and sizes), socks, underpants -- larger sizes are particularly sought after.
For more information reach out to the church office at info@allsaintsglenrock.org.
