In memoriam: Kathleen Virginia Bosler (Ginny)

It is with sadness that we share the news of the passing of Ginny Bosler, Glen Rock resident and friend to All Saints'.

A Case for Love - Documentary Film Screening

“A Case for Love” is a heartfelt yet personally challenging movie inspired by the teachings and writings of Bishop Michael Curry. This feature-length documentary examines the question of whether or not love, specifically—unselfish—love, is the solution to the extreme societal and political divide facing the world.

In the documentary, the film team travels the U.S. searching for people living their lives selflessly and interviews them about how that way of living affects others and themselves. They also interview random people on the street, discussing where they’ve witnessed unselfish love and where they’ve seen its absence.

The film will be shown in more than 1,000 movie theaters around the country for one night only on January 23. See the trailer and buy tickets here.

A Month of Unselfish Love

The screening of A Case for Love is just the beginning. The film aims to inspire people to live more selflessly and become part of the solution. The screening will kick off a Month of Unselfish Love challenge, during which participants are invited to spend 30 days journaling their experiences of unselfish love, and how it can impact their life. Access resources to help do this here.

Annual Stewardship Pledge Drive

and the Preschool Capital Campaign

The Finance Committee and the Vestry have started budget planning for the 2024 fiscal year in advance of the Annual Meeting. You’ve heard from us about two efforts that are critical to both the present and future of our parish: our Annual Stewardship Pledge Drive and our new Preschool Capital Campaign.

If you haven’t done so already, please take a moment to become a pledging member or to renew your pledge to All Saints’. There are pledge materials available on the Information Table in the rear of the Chapel and the Church, or head over to our website allsaintsglenrock.org/capitalcampaign to read and print copies of this year’s pledge packet.

The QR code here will take you directly to our pledge/donate page on our giving site.

The sooner we hear from you, the sooner our ministry planning -- including our Preschool project -- can progress.

For your prayers, your participation, and your pledges of financial support, and for all that you do for All Saints’, thank you!

Have you already updated your pledge online?

If you have updated your 2024 pledge in our secure online giving system, please fill out a pledge card and drop it in the collection plate or email our treasurer at mikegeiger1205@gmail.com so we can count your pledge in our 2024 budgeting process.

Employer Matching Funds For All Saints’

Does your employer have a matching gift program? Many companies match the charitable contributions of their employees. If your company matches gifts to organizations like All Saints', your pledge or year-end gift could double! Check with your employer's HR office.

Food Drive for St. Paul's Food Pantry

The need for food donations at St Paul's Food Pantry in Paterson is on-going!

Drop off donations at church at the Sunday services or any day – follow the signs in the parking lot to the drop off bin at the All Saints’ Chapel building. Our volunteers bring food to the pantry weekly.

Most-needed items: loaves of sliced bread, canned beans / vegetables / fruits / soups, canned chicken / fish / meat, cooking oils, crackers, dried herbs and spices, dried fruits, diapers / wipes, toiletries.

In 2021, the SPCDC Food Pantry provided services to 550 Heads of Household per month, a total of 2,382 beneficiaries (i.e. adults & K-12). This level of support equated to 552,220 meal equivalents distributed. The second most in SPCDC Food Pantry history - only surpassed by meal equivalents distributed in 2020.
