I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. -  Ephesians 3:17-19, NIV

As Jesus went to the highways and byways, he sends us beyond our circles and comfort to witness to the love, justice, and truth of God with our lips and with our lives. We go to listen with humility and to join God in healing a hurting world.
To what new places or communities  is the Spirit sending you to witness to the love of God?

Join us this Sunday as we wonder about this with the help of Bishop Gayle Harris. 
The Floors in the Church are being refinished!

The floors in the church are being refinished and so we will worship in Brewster Hall for the next three Sundays: March 24, March 31, and April 7.  We will be back in the Church for Palm Sunday and Easter!

We need lots of help handling the logistics of this work - moving pews, setting up for worship, etc. There is a sign-up sheet in the Clark Street Vestibule.

Women's Fellowship will meet on Friday, March 29 from 7-9 pm

All the women of the parish are invited to a gathering of the Women's Fellowship on Friday, March 29 from 7-9 pm at the home of the Hutchinsons (20 Horace Road, Belmont). 
preparing for Easter
Donations toward Easter Flowers now being collected.

All are invited to make a donation toward the Easter flowers in memory of a loved one. Envelopes were mailed to your house this week, and extras are available at the church. 

Join us Saturday, April 20, to help decorate the church with Easter Lilies and more! We will start with a worship service at 8:30 am.
Plans for the Agape Meal underway!

Don't miss this year's Agape Meal on Thursday, April 18 (Thursday in Holy Week) at 6:30 pm. Make your reservation by emailing Cheryl at, or signing up at Church (a Sign-up Sheet will be in the Parish Hall THIS Sunday). We will share a simple meal of soup, bread, cheese, olives, dried fruit, and wine, followed by a Holy Eucharist. The evening concludes with the stripping of the altar for Good Friday. This is an event for all ages (we always have special activities for the children to do during dinner and a Godly Play style homily).

As usual we need help to make this event happen.  We need table hosts, people to make soup, and help with set-up and clean-up. A sign-up sheet will be in the Parish Hall this Sunday. 
Presiding Bishop Michael Curry is coming to Massachusetts!

Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry will be making a visitation in the Diocese of Massachusetts, Friday-Monday, April 26-29.  In addition to several ministry visits and meetings with designated groups that Bishop Curry will be making around the diocese over the course of the weekend, there will be public gatherings with him on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 to which all are welcome. 

Saturday, April 27 - "Way of Love" Rally, 
5-6 p.m. 
Boston Common (exact location to be announced) 
Gather and be inspired, challenged and blessed as Bishop Curry proclaims the transforming power of walking the "Way of Love" with Jesus.  Everyone is welcome.

Sunday, April 28 - "Our Episcopal 'Big Tent':  How Big Is It?" 
3-4 p.m.
Grace Church (133 School Street) in New Bedford 
How well does the Episcopal Church measure up to its "big tent" ideal?  Come for a provocative panel discussion with Bishop Curry, Bishop Barbara C. Harris and House of Deputies Vice President Byron Rushing.  Seating will be first come, first served.  Reception follows.
