Dear Friends

This Sunday during the formation hour, between the 9:00 and 11:15 services, everyone is invited to gather for Andy Barnett’s send-off celebration.

Join us in Ellis Hall as we give thanks for Andy’s faithful and generous ministry over the past seven years at All Saints’. Andy has made a lasting impact on our worship through his moving jazz music, on our community through the meals he shared with young adults and newcomers, and through his remarkable ability to create a spreadsheet for just about anything.

We send our gratitude and prayers with Andy and his wife, Morgan, as they begin this next chapter at All Saints’ Beverly Hills, where Andy will serve as rector.

Braves Game May 17th please RSVP by Friday 5/01.

Here is the game plan for game day (5/17):

Join us for the 9:00 a.m. service and come dressed in your Braves gear or wear red, white, or blue.

After church, we will celebrate the end of the formation year with a Sunday Sundae party and lunch in the Attic.

From there, around 11:30, we will carpool from All Saints and park at Cobb Galleria.

200 Galleria Pkwy SE, Atlanta, GA 30339

We will walk together across the skybridge, through The Battery, and into the stadium for the game. Pick up will be back at All Saints after the game.

Tickets are $20 per person. Parents are welcome to join us, and we will also need drivers to help transport youth.

Peace,

Luke Nolfa

VBS Counselor wanted

Raising 6th-grauduating 12th grade

This is your chance to be part of the joy of VBS, not just as a participant, but as someone who helps create it. As a VBS counselor, you help bring to life the fun, welcoming, and joyful environment that makes VBS so special.

If you attended VBS as a child, chances are you remember the fun, energetic counselors who made the experience unforgettable. Now it is your turn to be that person for someone else.

Counselors serve by mentoring and supporting children throughout the week. You may be assigned to a small group or help lead a specific station or activity, but in every role, you are helping create a meaningful and joyful experience.

You are the magic makers.

If you are interested in serving as a counselor, please email Kathy Roberts as soon as possible at kroberts@allsaintsatlanta.org.

6:00-7:30

WE MEET IN ELLIS HALL LOBBY FOR DINNER

"So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the words of Christ." Romans 10:17

Come gather with us as we journey through the stories of Jesus Christ’s revolutionary ministry, listening closely to his words of love, challenge, and hope. Together, we’ll explore how God invites us into relationship, through fellowship, reflection, and honest conversation, and how these ancient texts continue to speak into our lives today.

God’s story has been unfolding across generations, and as we engage Scripture together, we begin to recognize where we find ourselves within that story now. This gathering offers a quieter, more reflective alternative to SNL: a space for spiritual growth shaped by shared meals, meaningful discussion, and a welcoming community.

If you’d like to join us just for the Bible study, dinner concludes at 6:30 PM.

To help build stronger connections and make this year meaningful for our youth, I’ve put together a Sign-Up Genius and a Google Doc with a variety of ways you can get involved in youth ministry. The Google Doc lists all the volunteer roles—please check the boxes for anything you're comfortable signing up for. The Sign-Up Genius includes specific dates and time slots for each opportunity.

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or looking to jump in for the first time, there’s something for everyone:

Volunteer Roles Available:

  • Provide Dinner for Sunday Night Youth Group (SNL & Y'all Saints'): Help feed our hungry youth by cooking, ordering, or bringing dinner. Fan favorites include Moe’s and Papa John’s Pizza—always a hit! Please note you do not have to bring a separate dinner for SNL and Y'all Saints, because we all eat together!

  • Sunday Formation Teacher: Join a team of volunteers to lead Sunday morning formation. Don’t worry—you won’t be doing it alone. We’re building a team-based structure to make it collaborative and low-pressure, even for first-time teachers.

  • Sunday Greeters (Morning and Evening): A warm hello makes all the difference. Greeters help our youth feel seen and welcomed as they arrive for programming.

  • Drivers & Chaperones for Local Outings: Occasionally, we’ll head off-site for events like bowling, laser tag, Braves games, or other local activities. We’re looking for adults willing to drive and actively participate—whether that means scoring strikes or just being a supportive presence.

  • Retreat Drivers & Chaperones: If you’re able to spend a weekend away, we’d love to have you join us as a chaperone or driver. It’s a chance to connect deeply with our youth and experience God’s presence in new ways.

  • Home Gathering Hosts: We’re looking for hosts willing to open their homes for small-group gatherings, game nights, or seasonal celebrations. You choose what you’re comfortable hosting.

  • Letter Writing: Help send notes and flyers to members in our community

We’re looking forward to an amazing year together, and I’m so grateful for your time, support, and energy as we continue building a meaningful youth community!
