Dear Friends

What a joyful Christmas Eve we were able to experince this year! My heartfelt thanks to all who led us in worship, especially our acolytes, lectors, and youth choir, whose beautiful offerings filled the nave with the spirit of Christmas. It was wonderful seeing everyone on Christmas Eve, and I am looking forward to seeing you in the new year. We have many events and activities coming up, see you there!

That’s right, we are having a lock in over MLK weekend. So come to SNL on Sunday, January 18, and then spend the night! The fun doesn’t have to end when SNL does. We’ll play games, pray Compline together, and enjoy extra time in community. We will be joined by our friends from St Philip's Cathedral

On Monday morning, we’ll wake up, have breakfast, and head out for a service project. We are partenering with Trees Atlanta

High School Bible Study

Wednesday, January 14th

6:00-7:30

Grades 9–12 gather in community to explore chapters, stories, and themes from the Bible. We share dinner together and create a relaxed, welcoming, and quieter space for meaningful conversation and reflection.

Summer Pilgrimage

Dear Pilgrims,

The destination for our 2026 Pilgrimage is Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands! From June 16–27, we will partner with Education Equals Hope to engage in meaningful work projects, spiritual reflection, and exploration of God’s creation, all while building relationships with parishioners from a local Episcopal church.

Our journey will include time in Quito exploring downtown, learning about its rich history, and experiencing the local culture; working with local Episcopal churches on various projects; sharing a meal with a family in Quito; and retreating into the mountains to hike and reflect on our journey so far.

We will then spend four nights and three days in the Galápagos—a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the beauty of God’s creation. At the end of our trip, we’ll reconnect and debrief with our host church, and we’ll also have the chance to visit the famous “Middle of the World” Equator museum.

Volunteer Opportunity

To help build stronger connections and make this year meaningful for our youth, I’ve put together a Sign-Up Genius and a Google Doc with a variety of ways you can get involved in youth ministry. The Google Doc lists all the volunteer roles—please check the boxes for anything you're comfortable signing up for. The Sign-Up Genius includes specific dates and time slots for each opportunity.

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or looking to jump in for the first time, there’s something for everyone:

Volunteer Roles Available:

  • Provide Dinner for Sunday Night Youth Group (SNL & Y'all Saints'): Help feed our hungry youth by cooking, ordering, or bringing dinner. Fan favorites include Moe’s and Papa John’s Pizza—always a hit! Please note you do not have to bring a separate dinner for SNL and Y'all Saints, because we all eat together!

  • Sunday Formation Teacher: Join a team of volunteers to lead Sunday morning formation. Don’t worry—you won’t be doing it alone. We’re building a team-based structure to make it collaborative and low-pressure, even for first-time teachers.

  • Sunday Greeters (Morning and Evening): A warm hello makes all the difference. Greeters help our youth feel seen and welcomed as they arrive for programming.

  • Drivers & Chaperones for Local Outings: Occasionally, we’ll head off-site for events like bowling, laser tag, Braves games, or other local activities. We’re looking for adults willing to drive and actively participate—whether that means scoring strikes or just being a supportive presence.

  • Retreat Drivers & Chaperones: If you’re able to spend a weekend away, we’d love to have you join us as a chaperone or driver. It’s a chance to connect deeply with our youth and experience God’s presence in new ways.

  • Home Gathering Hosts: We’re looking for hosts willing to open their homes for small-group gatherings, game nights, or seasonal celebrations. You choose what you’re comfortable hosting.

  • Letter Writing: Help send notes and flyers to members in our community

We’re looking forward to an amazing year together, and I’m so grateful for your time, support, and energy as we continue building a meaningful youth community!

Our Diocese and All Saints' take seriously the safety of all our children. If you volunteer with Children or Youth, you must take the Safeguarding God's Children training.

To take the online training - just go to Safe Church Training, check out the dates available, and sign up!

Even if you don't work with Children or Youth, you are encouraged to get trained - the more we know, the safer our kids are.

The Diocese of Atlanta does Zoom training also and you can sign up for one of these.
