August 30, 2024

Dear Friends,

As Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, let’s take a moment to reflect on the blessings of work and rest. This holiday offers us a chance to unwind and spend quality time with loved ones, focusing on relaxation and appreciation. I will be spending my weekend with old Army friends, reflecting on our time in service together and delighting in where we are today.

Thankfully (for me at least), this weekend also marks the move towards cooler days. In this, we are reminded of the beauty in each season God provides. The changing weather invites us to embrace shifts, with opportunities for spiritual renewal, community gatherings, and the warmth of God’s love during this transition. I look forward to a more full young adults' and parish schedule in the coming months, so that we all may find opportunity for fellowship. May we enter this season with hearts full of gratitude and anticipation for the blessings ahead.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All Saints’ current summer service schedule - 8:00 a.m. Spoken Eucharist (Rite I), 10:00 a.m. Choral Eucharist (Rite II), and The Welcome Table at 5:00 p.m. On Sunday, September 8, we return to our usual service times: 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Well wishes,

Tasia Blair (she/her)
