All Saints, along with all schools in the Diocese of Richmond and the Commonwealth, will be closed for students March 16-27. Our first priority is the health and well being of our All Saints family and friends. We pray for all our welfare and for the end of this pandemic. We are sending this update to inform you of some of the actions being taken at the school, under the direction of the Diocese, during this time:
Teachers and staff met today to prepare teaching materials for students and to prepare plans to continue necessary functions at the school (i.e., billing, receiving mail, etc.).
Last Friday, students took home books and instructional materials. Educational plans and tools are being sent electronically to students today to provide them with meaningful learning opportunities over the next two weeks.
After today, teachers and staff will be working from home. They will be available via e-mail and phone and will be checking in with administration regularly.
Many academic goals and deadlines remain as planned, with third quarter ending March 20 as scheduled. Report cards may be delayed. ACRE (Assessment of Children/Youth Religious Education) and Performance Series testing will be rescheduled.
School events have been postponed or canceled. The school's updated calendar can be found on our website HERE.
Efforts are being made to thoroughly clean the school.
This is an unprecedented experience, and we are working to remain flexible and communicative. As always, we appreciate your prayers and support. We know w
e can get through this together.
With deepest sincerity,
the All Saints Administration
