Announcements

Annual Diocesan Delegates - Henrietta Haithcock, John Russell, and Dawn Armfield have been nominated for conference delegates to the annual conference being held on Saturday, November 7th at Lake Logan. We will elect two (2) plus an alternate at the Annual Meeting.

Vestry Candidates - Linda Lee Miller, David Moore, Tanya Hunt, Matt Jones, and John Russell have been nominated for vestry candidates. We will elect three (3) at the annual meeting.

828 Giving– We want to thank 828 Vets for coming on Sunday. They are doing extraordinary work with the veterans of Macon county and the entire 828 area. They are a pillar of our community, and we should all be proud of the work they do. As a reminder, if you would like to donate to 828 Vets please make your check out to All Saints and write 828 Vets it in the memo of your check or on your cash envelope.

New Bulletin– For many years, our bulletin was created in a Microsoft product that, as of October 1, has been shut down. Beginning with the October 11 service, you may find the bulletin looks a bit different. We will try to preserve as much of the formatting you are familiar with as we can. Thank you for your patience as we transition.

Online Worship– We have started testing livestreaming of our services while we continue to address some audio and video issues. Thank you for your patience as we get closer toward a solution.

Yoga- All Saints is offering yoga, with an insured, certified instructor, for $10/class! Our next class is on Saturday, October 10, at 10:00 am, at St. Cyprian Parish Hall. We do have a few mats available for folks who don't have their own to bring.

Eucharist & Healing Service– Come join us for a Eucharist & Healing Service on Wednesday, October 28, at 11:30 am, at St. Agnes. Everyone is welcome!

Meet with Father E.R.- Father E.R. would love the opportunity to meet each parishioner. If you have not had the chance to sit down with him and share your story, call the office to set up a meeting.

Updated Website- If you haven't had a chance yet, we invite you to explore our new website! Whether you're looking for worship times, upcoming events, or parish news, you'll find it all in one convenient place. Check it out at www.allsaintsfranklin.org.

All Hallow's Eve - Saturday, October 31, 6:00 pm, at St. Agnes, we will hold an All Hallow's Eve service. This service is open to the public. We would like to borrow decorations and lighting, including string lights and torches. We would also appreciate volunteers for set up, tear down, lector, and usher.

Annual Meeting - October 11 will be our Annual Meeting. We will have one (1) service at St. Cyprian's at 10:15 with the Annual Meeting to follow along with a potluck. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to bring something.

This event offers new and experienced vestry leaders a chance to gain insight into the various roles and responsibilities of the Vestry. It will include afternoon workshops on stewardship, finances, and congregational development.

Guest Preachers

We are delighted to welcome distinguished guest preachers to All Saints this fall. The next dates will be this October 25 and November 22. Check the All Saints website for more details and their bios.

Guest preachers will preach services at both 8 am and 10:15 am. Fr. E.R. will be our celebrant.

Outreach Ministry

Food Pantry- Please continue to bring items for our "Little Free Food Pantry" for those in need. Your donations will be accepted any day. There is a designated shopping cart in the foyer of the parish hall at St. Agnes and also a designated bin inside the parish hall at St. Cyprian’s.  Please do not place fresh foods, i.e. fresh fruits or vegetables, in the free food pantry; though we have a lot of people using the food in the pantry, the frequency of people using it is not high enough to ensure that fresh food does not spoil.

Downtown Door is collecting men's clothing.

All Saints Outreach meets the fourth Sunday of each month during coffee hour. The next meeting will be Sunday, October 25, at St. Cyprian following the 10:15 am service. Come get your treats and see how we can lift up our community together!

Ladies’ Social- The Ladies' Social is temporarily suspended due to the busyness of the season and will reconvene sometime this fall. In the meantime, we encourage all of the ladies to stay connected, enjoy fellowship with one another, and share your ideas for future gatherings.

Men’s Breakfast– The men meet every Wednesday morning at 8:30 am at Normandie Restaurant for breakfast. All men are welcome to join us.

Altar Flowers- If you would like to donate to provide flowers and dedicate them to someone, please sign up on the list in church or contact Nicole in the church office. We ask for a donation of $35 to cover the cost of the flowers. If you donate, you are welcome to take the flowers after the 10:15 am service. Please do not take the inserts or vases. There are bags available for easy transport - ask someone on the Flower Guild for assistance. If you would like the flowers to be given to someone else, you can make arrangements with a member of the Flower Guild.

Calendar- Our website has a calendar that shows upcoming events in the life of the Parish, including the time and location of services each Sunday. Please take a look at it and let us know if you have any suggestions for improvement. We hope to make it a valuable resource for all of us to keep up with what is happening in our church family. You can find it here.
