Our Stewardship Campaign:

WHY ALL SAINTS?

All Saints is a community of many ministries—worship, music, children and youth, formation, outreach, pastoral care, fellowship, and so much more.

Which ministry has made a difference in your life?

This week, we're asking:

Why This Ministry?

Tell us about the ministry that matters to you and why. Your story may help someone else understand the impact of the work we do together.

We'd love to hear your story. You may be invited to share a quick video, or you can write your answer on a card in the Narthex.

Every Story Matters.

We hope to hire 2-3 new nursery workers as soon as possible. If you know of anyone interested in serving our youngest parishioners in the church nursery, please have them contact Gwendolyn at gmehigan@asejax.org.

The Youth of All Saints say THANK YOU!!

Your generous pet food donations will keep many bellies full this fall.

Youth Bake Sale

This Sunday, October 11

In Memory...

As we prepare to celebrate All Saints Day on November 1st, you will see Mum Offering Envelopes in the Sanctuary. To honor a loved one who has died, please include a suggested donation of $10 per plant, and please write names clearly and legibly so we can ensure all acknowledgments are listed correctly.

We will still have our 10:30am worship service, but with the look and sound of our 8:00am gathering.

**New Time**

Morning Prayer on Zoom continues

every Monday at 8:30am

In many times and places, daybreak has been a time of prayer. Jews prayed in their synagogues at sunrise as well as at other times each day. This Jewish pattern of prayer formed the basis of the Christian monastic Daily Office, with its prayers or “hours” at seven times in each day. Thomas Cranmer’s revision of the Daily Office for the first English Prayer Book (1549) reduced the number of services to two - one for morning (Matins) and one for evening (Evensong or vespers). In the Second English Prayer Book (1552), the morning service was given its present name, Morning Prayer.

All Saints would love for you to join us on Monday mornings at 8:30 AM via Zoom to pray the service of Morning Prayer from the Daily Office. What better way to start your week than a sweet reminder that your days belong to God and that you are never alone? Just open up your computer or smart phone, and click HERE to join. The meeting ID is 880 6446 1068 and the passcode to enter the Zoom meeting is 212659 or just email Julia Suddath HERE for the Zoom invitation. You can also use Forward Movement's Daily Prayer resource HERE to see the liturgy and to read the assigned Bible readings for Morning Prayer.

Come and be nourished with the Word of God and prayer!
