While every Sunday is special at Perry UMC, this Sunday is extraordinarily tender and meaningful! All Saints Day is a time we remember those of our church family who died between November 1, 2022 and November 1, 2023. We will remember those below, additionally, we will give everyone an opportunity to call the names of any other family members or friends who have entered their eternal rest with God that you would like to remember on this special day.

Perry UMC will host the Annual Charge Conference Service on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 4 p.m. in the Sanctuary for the churches in our District.

This event is open to anyone who would like to attend.

We will depart on Friday, November 17 at 2 p.m. and return by 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 19.  

All registrations and payments are due by Friday, November 3, 2023.  

The holidays can be some of the hardest days after the loss of a loved one. From November through January, Perry United Methodist Church will be providing a grief support group known as Hope Beyond Today from Grief Care Fellowship written by Dr. Fran Welsh and Nancy Self.

Co-facilitators Rick Gristhentwaite and Shirley Sichelstiel will host these seven sessions that are discussion and DVD based. Mourning faithfully and grieving well is an important part of our soul's shalom or wholeness. The Hope Beyond Today group will meet in the Family Life Center's Meeting room Thursday evenings from

5pm-6:30pm on November 9, 16, 30, December 7, 14, 21, and January 4 and 11.

This class will cost $5 per participant for a seven session notebook. Please register at the church office or with them no later than noon on Sunday Nov. 12.
