From the Senior Warden, Sarah Gilbert
I participated recently in a diocesan wardens meeting with Bishop Matt and Lay Canon for Administration Matthew Payne via Zoom and came away grateful for and impressed with our diocesan leadership, including the COVID-19 Task Force. We are so lucky to have this thoughtful and hard-working team to guide us through these unprecedented times.

Though so much we have been accustomed to has shifted, worship is still happening in the Diocese of Fond du Lac through daily office live-streams and regular prayer at home, and our congregations are still connected through calls, texts, emails, notes, Zoom, and Facebook. Thank you, all of you at All Saints who are contributing to our connectedness and also contributing financially as you are able, tuning in to pray together, and praying on your own. Keep it up!

So much is still uncertain. Rest assured we will move forward with care with an eye on the latest data and markers and the particular needs of our parish under the guidance of our wise bishop and rector.
From the Parish Treasurer, Alicia Bayambang
Hello from the dandelion patch ~

All Saints is continuing to thrive during this difficult time. We are meeting our current financial needs despite the 'safer at home' situation. May is also looking healthy financially.

Please find the April financial reports below. Please note that the balance sheet is included this month which shows the updated balances in the Endowments as of 3/31/2020. Per our quarterly statement, "DCT performance in Q1 2020 was -15.09% net of fees." This reflects the same investment activity many of us saw in our personal investments for the first quarter. On the bright side, the 2008 investment performance bounced back and 2020 will likely bounce back too. We have no plans at this time to take any significant withdraws from the endowments which will give the investments time to recover its value.

The April YTD income statement column also includes the $38,864.11 bequest income that was deposited into the DCT. The bequest income has been tentatively earmarked for emergency use as needed during the "safer-at-home" order. After we return to the new normal, any unused funds will be reviewed to determine a new purpose.

Thank you, everyone, for your patience and flexibility as we have worked to put together an online presence for All Saints Episcopal Church. It is a steep learning curve, and I (like many of you) had to start largely from scratch. As we go forward, please let us know what is working, what could work better, and what else you would like to see as part of our online ministry and outreach. I am putting together a new ministry team to oversee our digital presence and ministry; if you would like to get involved, please send me an email and let me know.
Email Change Reminder
The email address for the church office is now . Please update your contacts with the new address.

The old TDS email is still active for now, but the Gmail account is much easier for Emily to check from home. Thank you!
Lawn Mowing Thanks
Thanks to our volunteer lawn mowing crew: Eric Neiswender, Al Olson, Chris Laswell, Mike Gadzik, Ken Bozeman, and Heljun Bayambang! This dedicated bunch has organized a calendar of mowing through the summer to keep our downtown corner property spruced up even when we are absent from the building. Small acts of love add up!
Forward Day by Day
Forward Day by Day booklets for May-June-July are available. If you'd like one, please contact the office , and we'll make arrangements.
Fabric Face Mask Ministry
Are you sewing face masks? Do you have fabric, elastic, and other supplies to share with those who are? Do you need masks or know of others who do? Marion Bowers and Heidi Bates are both sewing up a storm and have each reached out about connecting with others who are doing likewise and offering masks to our community. If you would like to be part of this ministry or contribute supplies or request some masks, contact Marion at 920-731-3040 or , or Heidi at 920-749-3491 or .

The Facebook group Wisconsin Face Mask Warriors is also looking for people who can make masks or provide supplies; they have lots of resources and tips for sewing masks. Click on the link above to contact them.
Serrv & Earn Spring Campaign
For the last two years All Saints has held a fundraiser following the Alternative Gift Market, where 20% of each purchase of fair trade crafts from Serrv International was donated to the church. Here's a chance to check out Serrv's springtime collection and help All Saints at the same time!

We are inviting you to join Serrv’s 60 Day Campaign to make a positive difference in communities around the world—including our own.

“Now through June 15, look for weekly SERRV & Earn specials coming to your inbox—from FREE home delivery to FREE gifts with the purchase of any of our 1,000+ food products and handcrafts.   We will donate 20% of their sales to All Saints Episcopal Church.

From spices and soap to scarves and gift baskets, our handmade, fair trade products make thoughtful gifts this spring. At the same time, purchases from your community will make a difference to global artisans and farmers whose income is at risk without orders from the U.S.”

Follow this link:  and feel free to share it with your networks. Only orders placed via this web link will be credited to the All Saints fundraiser.

Bishop's Annual Appeal
From Bishop Matthew Gunter's letter about the 2020 Bishop's Annual Appeal:

Dear Friends in Christ,

A year ago, we launched the Bishop’s Annual Appeal. You were generous giving over $56,000 for vital congregations, a successful Revival and a training center in our companion Diocese of Masvingo. What a blessing, to receive more than twice the goal of that initial appeal. Our diocesan ministry is rich in hope and possibility. Appeal plans this year were to support new, worthy causes. God wants us to give beyond ourselves, doing the work of the Kingdom. Then the Covid-19 pandemic struck. Our lives have changed. The appeal changed, too.

Prayer is the most significant thing we can do, so I appeal for you to pray daily for the diocese and congregations. I appeal for you to give, not through the diocesan structure, but directly to your congregation . On a national and international level (and local, too), I encourage you to support needs through gifts to United Thank Offering .

In my years as your bishop, I’ve come to understand we are all called to give – our giving can transform lives. Please prayerfully consider making a generous gift for the spread of God’s Kingdom, of whatever amount, in response to this Bishop’s Annual Appeal . Pray daily for the diocese and our ministry.

Under the Mercy,
The Rt. Rev. Matthew Gunter
Bishop of Fond du Lac

Emergency Shelter Servers
From Sue Stenz:

We have decided, due to the makeup of our volunteer groups, not to participate in meal making for Pillars, including desserts, until June 2020, at which time I will send out another update. Although this is a very difficult time, I would rather have us all safe and able to help out in the future.

I have since talked to Tony at Pillars and asked about monetary donations to the food pantry and meal prep. He said that would be very welcomed. Their pantry is looking a bit meager at the moment. Feel free to send your monetary donation, if you wish, to Pillars , noting it is for food prep and that you are from All Saints.

Thank you for all you do. I miss seeing my teammates and all of you. If you have any questions feel free to contact me via email or call 920-787-7921.
