From the Youth Minister, Erin Wolf
No Sunday School or Youth Group on Sunday, December 1 st due to the holiday weekend. However, all are encouraged to be present for both the 1 st Sunday of Advent and our first Sunday with Fr. Christopher Wilkerson!

#AdventWord: For those seeking a new way to explore and experience Advent this year, consider checking out #AdventWord, a global, online calendar. Meditations and images will be offered daily through Virginia Theological Seminary each day beginning Sunday, Dec. 1. These can be found through email , Facebook , Instagram , Twitter , and American Sign Language videos on YouTube . This year, meditations will be offered in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.

Banner Candles: On each of the four Sundays of Advent, we will be “lighting” our Advent banner (Velcro felt flames) and having a short prayer to go with it at the start of the 10:00am service. Any children & older students are welcome to participate. If your student would like to assist, please contact Erin Wolf at asygappleton@gmail.com

All Saints Events
Parish Office Closed - Nov. 27-29
Due to Thanksgiving, t he parish office will close at 12 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 27 and remain closed through Friday, Nov. 29 .
Nametags
With Fr. Christopher starting as our new rector next Sunday, it's important to get back into the habit of wearing nametags on Sunday mornings to help him learn our names and faces. If you already have a nametag on the rack in the Palmer Room, remember to put it on when you come to church; if you don't have a nametag, please contact the office to have one made.
Winter Clothes
We're planning to welcome the Wilkerson family to All Saints with a few things to help them embrace and enjoy our beautiful winters right out of the gate. We've bought sleds, snowpants, hats and gloves for the girls before the winter gear gets too picked over in the shops, and we're planning to add a gift certificate for a good brand of outerwear along with best tips for dressing for the Wisconsin winter. Tips and donations can be left in the church office or added to the plate clearly marked "Wilkerson Winter" or similar. We subscribe to the dictum that there is no bad weather, only bad clothes!

Next Sunday, Dec. 8 , there will be an informational session at 9 am in the Palmer Room. Come learn more about how to order and use Scrip!
Meet & Eat
The Meet and Eat Groups sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board. These casual dinner meetings are a great way to get to know fellow All Saints members. If you haven't been able to participate in the past, consider joining the fun and good eating now!

The sign-up will be posted through December 8th . Groups will be formed after that; meetings can begin in the new year. We suggest that each group invite the Wilkersons to one of their dinner outings to help Father Christopher and Anne get to know parishioners in a smaller setting.
Christmas Decorating
Would you like to help put up Christmas decorations in the sanctuary on December 23? Do you have fresh pine boughs that we could use? Please contact Karrie Moore or Barbara Fetterolf .
