Interim Treasurer
Dear Members of All Saints,
The Wardens and Vestry are pleased to let you know that Alicia Bayambang has graciously agreed to serve as the church’s interim treasurer. She will be working with Ellen and the Finance Committee for the rest of the year and then become the official Treasurer. Alicia is a life-long Episcopalian with an impressive record of church volunteer experience, having have served at various parishes as a newsletter editor, vestry member, Senior Warden, and Treasurer. She has a BS in Accountancy/Finance and an MBA with an International Business emphasis and is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Fraud Examiner. She’s currently employed at Humana as a Finance Manager.
On a personal level, she and her husband, Heljun, enjoy traveling, watching movies, and ballroom dancing. They also have a small dog and three cats.
The leadership of All Saints feels very blessed that she has accepted the opportunity to be our treasurer and we look forward to working with her.

candles_romantic.jpg
Save the Date ye Revellers All,
for meet we shall in Kemper Hall--
Come at 5, the 5th of January
both Young and Old shall we be Merry!

Once again, it is time for a Twelfth Night Revel and Epiphany Dinner. For those of you who have never attended, we are reviving an evening of Food, Fellowship, Foolishness and Fun, which celebrates the old traditions of the original 12 Days of Christmas as celebrated in Jolly Olde Englande. At 5 pm on Saturday, January 5 in Kemper Hall we will gather for hot Wassail punch, a candlelight dinner of Roast Pork, Figgy Pudding, Epiphany Cakes, Bobbing for Apples, Carols, Anthems, all led by the Master of the Revels, actor Scott Crane. Fun for all ages, families with children are definitely encouraged to attend, and a modest fee will cover the cost of provisions.

Please mark your calendars and let Emily in the church office know you will be attending at 920-734-3656 or allsaintsapple@tds.net   Invite friends - it is a blast, and a perfect way to mark the end of the Christmas season. We need to know as soon as possible who is attending so we can order and prepare enough food.  There are opportunities to cook, bake, clean up, decorate, and do errands. Many hands make light work, so if you would like to help out, please contact Carol Jegen at cjegen49@gmail.com or at 920-475-9709.
Episcopal 101 is Coming!
This three-week course will be offered between services in the undercroft the first three Sundays of January and then repeated the first 3 Sundays in February. Watch for more information soon!

Christmas Marionette Shows - Dec. 1 & 8
The Fox Folk Marionette Troupe will be performing a special Christmas show entitled “The Search for the King” at the Apple Creek YMCA on Saturday, December 1 . The morning show is at 11:00 a.m. A repeat performance is slated for 1:00 p.m. The group will also be performing the show at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Green Bay on Saturday, December 8 at 1 p.m. as part of their Christmas for Kids event. Based on the classic tale “The Other Wiseman,” this half-hour family-friendly show features 20 colorful, hand-crafted marionettes who have been telling the Christmas story in the Fox River Valley for over 50 years. Come and see the magic of this Christmas tale!

The Fox Folk Marionette Troupe is comprised of students from Fox Valley Lutheran High School and is one of the few surviving marionette performance teams in the Midwest and may be the only high school group in the nation. The troupe was established in 2004 and performs with marionettes that were hand-crafted by Bruce and Barbara Purdy and members at All Saints Episcopal Church in Appleton. The original marionettes were created in the 1960s to share the message of Christmas and have performed for 50,000-plus people over the years.

Dave Payne serves as the Director of this group and is assisted by Co-Director Cassie Payne. The public is welcome. Enjoy a good, old-fashioned puppet show that has been a Christmas tradition in the Valley for over 50 years. Find out more at www.fvlhs.org/marionettes .

The Apple Creek YMCA is located at 2851 E. Apple Creek Rd on Appleton’s far northeast side. St. Paul Lutheran Church is located at 514 S. Clay Street in Green Bay.

For more information, contact Dave Payne at dpayne@fvlhs.org or 920-560-5103 .
Charpentier’s Midnight Mass For Christmas - Dec. 9
Opportunities to Serve
Vestry Clerk
All Saints is in need of a new Clerk of the Vestry. This is a volunteer position that requires attending all vestry meetings, which are usually held after the 10am service on the 3rd Sunday of the month, and taking minutes which are later distributed to the vestry. The clerk does not vote on vestry decisions. If you'd like to serve in this role, please contact Senior Warden Rob Anderson .
8am Servers Needed
A new schedule of servers for January-March will be coming out in the next few weeks. If you're interested in becoming an acolyte, chalice bearer, lector, or usher, please contact the office - this is a good time to get on the list!

We're especially in need of chalice bearers and acolytes for the 8am Sunday service . Right now we don't have enough servers for a proper rotation, which means that some people have to serve almost every week. If you're a regular 8am attendee who would be willing to join this ministry, please contact the office . Thank you!
Coffee Hour Volunteers Needed
The coffee hour schedule has a number of openings in the upcoming weeks. Please sign up to bring treats! If you haven't hosted coffee hour before, directions are available from the office .
Eucharistic Visitors
We're looking for volunteers to join the Eucharistic Visitor ministry, which brings communion to parishioners who are no longer able to attend church. If you're interested in learning how to take part in this ministry, please contact the office .
