| | Oct. 11 Listening Sessions | |
As Fr. Christopher and Senior Warden Stephanie Gadzik announced last Sunday, Bishop Matt has appointed a diocesan consultant to work with All Saints in the month of October. She wants to listen to parishioners talk about their hopes and concerns for All Saints' future.
Please sign up for a time slot on Saturday, October 11. Each listening session will last approximately one hour and will take place in small groups of up to 8. The 9:30 slot is full, but 10:45, 12:15, and 1:30 still have spaces available. Contact the parish office to add your name to the time slot that works for you.
This is an important opportunity to help us consider our future together. If you are unable to participate on the 11th, please contact the church office or reach out directly to Stephanie or Fr. Christopher to explore other options for making sure your voice gets heard.
In case you missed it, this email sent on Monday has messages from Fr. Christopher and Stephanie about the situation.
| | Diocesan Knitting & Crocheting Project | |
Reminder: This is the last day to bring in knitted and crocheted items for the Episcopal Diocese of Wisconsin's donation drive! Please drop them off in the office by end of day on Wednesday, Oct. 8, and our Diocesan Convention delegates will deliver them to the group collecting them.
| | Newcomers' Appreciation & Welcome | Are you new to All Saints? We are so glad you are here! You are invited to a Newcomers' Evening on October 25th. We will gather for food and fellowship at 6:30 at the home of Rachel and Uri Levine. RSVP by October 15th to rachel_louise_levine@yahoo.com. We look forward to getting to know you better! | | |
Our next Music at All Saints concert is coming up on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:30pm! Addison Teng and Amy Hess of the Fulton Chamber Players, who visited All Saints last fall, are returning for another performance. Free will donations will go to the Fulton Music Society.
We'll need ushers and greeters for the concert, as well as people to provide treats for a light reception afterward. Please contact the office or sign up on the Outreach bulletin board if you're interested in helping out.

Upcoming dates for Mahjongg Night (all Tuesdays):
Oct. 14, 28
All meetings are held 6-9pm in the Palmer Room. Contact Catherine Neiswender or Stephanie Gadzik with questions. Come join the fun!
| | This October, All Saints will be holding a Diaper Drive in partnership with the Salvation Army. Diapers are not just a basic necessity for infants and toddlers but are also a significant expense for many families. All diapers, from newborn size to pull ups, and wipes will be collected to support families across the Fox Valley during a time of year when school and holiday expenses may begin to mount. More information and collection bins are posted in the hallway. Please consider supporting Fox Valley families in this way! | | Since the Feast of All Saints (November 1st) ~ our parish’s namesake day ~ falls on a Saturday this year, we have a fantastic opportunity to do something special that both honors this holy day and brings us together to celebrate our parish family. The celebration will include food, music (including communal singing we can all join in with), prayer, story sharing, remembrances, and worship. More details to follow, but in the meantime, if you have questions, want to suggest other things to include in the celebration, or would like to be more directly involved in this event, please contact the church office or reach out to Fr. Christopher directly at fatherchristopherallsaints@gmail.com. | |

TREASURER TRANSITION
As many of you heard announced in church on Sunday, Sept. 21, our long-time parish treasurer, Tina Wilfer, has resigned from that position.
It is impossible to overstate the positive impact her tenure in that role has had upon the financial health and vitality of this parish. Her diligent devotion, and especially her emphasis that we embrace and adhere to established “best practices” ~ from day-to-day operations up to long-range forecasting and anticipation of future needs ~ have done more than merely to help us “get by.”
Tina’s deep expertise and tireless work ethic made her an integral part of our Finance Ministry Team, and together the members of that team have seen us through a number of serious challenges, giving us as a parish a solid foundation for continuing to move forward from here, even as uncertainty looms around us. We owe every member of that team our thanks, and we are particularly grateful to Tina herself for all the incredible work she has done on behalf of All Saints.
And now, we enter a time of transition. The parish needs a new treasurer … and Tina is of course a tough act to follow. Her professional training and experience with accounting and finance were huge assets, and we were lucky to have someone with those particular gifts who was willing to offer them to our parish for so long.
But I want to emphasize that our next treasurer does not have to match Tina’s impressive credentials and expertise. A basic understanding of accounting is needful, plus a clear head for oversight and a sincere desire to serve and safeguard the financial resources of this parish. Those latter qualities are the traits that, on top of her own invaluable professional experience, I believe best defined Tina’s gifts and made her time as treasurer so successful.
So if any of that resonates with you, or if you’d just like to talk a bit about what the role of treasurer might entail moving forward, please reach out to me at fatherchristopherallsaints@gmail.com ~ let’s sit down and explore the possibilities together.
Yours in Christ,
Christopher+

Walking with Saints This October
Dear Friends in Christ,
This October, as we journey toward one of our principal feasts - All Saints Day - on November 1, we invite you to reflect with us on the saints—the holy men and women who show us the way to Christ. We honor the saints as spiritual guides for faith, virtue, and service; their lives inspire us in our own spiritual journey.
The saints are a source of encouragement. They serve as examples of God at work in our midst and offer encouragement as we navigate the complexities of life. They remind us that holiness is always within reach.
The saints offer hope and reassurance. All Saints Day is a day to embrace the paradox of holding grief for loved ones who have died alongside the reassuring hope of eternal life and the comfort of our Lord.
The saints are a call to go and do likewise. By observing the lives of saints, we are inspired to continue progressing on the path of faith, to live out God’s love in our own lives.
We encourage you this month to call on your favorite saints as we reflect on the mystery of life and death and the grace of God that binds us all together in the presence of Christ.
