Students to receive weekly virtual training with scheduled cohort gatherings throughout 2021
The Kentucky Institute for Economic Development, the Commonwealth's premier economic development training conference, is back with a semester of cutting-edge instruction. The Institute is designed to equip participants with the tools necessary to compete aggressively and successfully on a global stage for new economic development. Economic developers, elected officials, policymakers, and all stakeholders involved in local, regional, and state-wide growth should participate in KIED to gain capacity building skills, resources, and networks to accelerate economic development.

The Kentucky Institute for Economic Development is accredited by the International Economic Development Council. It fulfills one of the prerequisites for those who wish to take the examinations for the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation.
