This quote from Ruth Bader Ginsburg, one of many highlighted since her passing last Friday, is especially applicable right now.
At times, it feels like our entire world is at stake - a global pandemic, wild fires, social unrest, an impending presidential election. It can take every ounce of energy to get up and start the morning some days, but we can't lose sight of the great work that still needs to be done.
We are fortunate to work in a field where we contribute to the early childhood community which has far-reaching impacts. And now, by wearing a face covering and practicing social distancing, we are doing our part to protect our community by preventing the spread of COVID. Through both small and large acts, we can live for the betterment of everyone. We should make it our legacy, just like RBG made it hers. Let's do her proud.
