It's hard to believe that 29 years ago August my dream came true—starting Progressive Design Build. Reflecting on nearly the past three decades, I am most proud of our commitment to changing lives. As I've said before, when we remodel a home, it's not just about the bricks and sticks. We are quite literally building the stage upon which memories are made. Taking this opportunity to reflect on our past and looking forward to our future, I want to thank the men and women of Progressive Design Build, both past and present, for shaping our company to what it is today. Here's to the next 30 years, helping families live better and happier.

From your friends at Progressive Design Build,

6 Signs It Is Time To Remodel Your Southwest Florida Bathroom
If you struggle daily with a poorly planned bathroom, it’s time to consider making some changes. Maybe your challenges stem from not being able to access features in your bathroom that are the most used—such as the toilet paper holder. Perhaps you have a leaky tub, mold development or cabinets that need to be replaced. Or, maybe you’re just tired of your bathroom’s outdated features. While everyone has their own ideas of what makes the “ideal bathroom,” here are some telltale signs that it’s time to remodel.
Enjoy Outdoor Living Under a New Outdoor Kitchen Pavilion
Our clients in Bonita Bay, Bonita Springs longed for an ultimate indoor/outdoor living area fit for entertaining—to include an outdoor kitchen and covered patio. Their existing patio was exposed to direct sunlight in the mid-afternoon and early evening. They desired a shade solution that would allow them to enjoy their outdoor living space during these bright, hot periods of the day.

To remedy this, we were able to design and install a stained cypress pergola on their existing patio, which contained a custom ShadeFX canopy in Sunbrella fabric. Now our clients have the coverage they need to enjoy the outdoors in the late afternoon—a perfect oasis to read, relax, or entertain.

Completing this outdoor oasis was the design and construction of an outdoor kitchen. Located adjacent to the covered patio and indoor kitchen, this outdoor living area was upgraded from a partially covered patio to a fully functional outdoor kitchen with Brown Jordan stainless steel cabinetry, an undermount ice bin, and a new grilling station (featuring a 36” Alfresco grill and 48” Proline hood). To complete this luxurious outdoor kitchen, we installed a Kohler Strive sink with a Kohler Simplice faucet. For more outdoor kitchen inspiration, visit our design portfolio .
