We are Ready for Rincon Library!

There was an overwhelming response to the Ready for Rincon Library initiative, with more than 260 people contacting local leaders to request funding for a new library building. Great news!  Effingham County Elected Officials have agreed to include a new library building in the next SPLOST cycle in 2026. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Library Volunteer Spotlight

"Libraries are important because they are open to everyone and offer everyone opportunities - opportunities to improve your mind, to explore new ideas, to learn about the world, to meet people, and to fall in love with reading."

~ Marie Rozman, Regional Library Board of Trustees

Bull Street Library Roof Replacement

Bull Street Library will begin work to replace the roof, starting the week of July 17, 2023 and continuing into the Fall. During the project, there will be an interruption of library services, including possible closure of the building. Library visitors will also experience additional noise and reduced access to parking.

We will provide updates with more information about the schedule and impact of the work as the project progresses. Thank you for your patience with this renovation process.
