We are 901 Celebration Tour
Five years ago, legacy Memphis City and Shelby County Schools began its first merged school year, becoming one of the largest school districts in the nation. Over the last five years, the district has overcome many challenges to gain improvement in five key areas: Academics, Turnaround, Funding, Safety and Equity. We were one of the five schools Supt. Hopson and the bus tour visited last Monday.

Teacher Spotlight
Ms. Diaz
I was born and raised in a small town in Spain. After graduating in Physical Therapy in 2008 I started working in my country, Spain. I enjoyed my work, but teaching fulfills me! Teaching is something that I have always been passionate about. That is why I have started my third degree, Master in Arts of Education. After coming to Memphis I started my journey on the teaching world by instructing people in Spanish as a private tutor. In addition, I have been working with kids during the past years in a school environment. I love teaching at T-STEM. We have the best students.
What language do you speak?

Latin students have all the fun! Ms. Ryder works very hard to provide engaging lessons for her students. Here are a few Latin students working hard to learn their Latin endings! #RyderRules

East High School students join the AT&T * It Can Wait campaign to talk about the dangers of smartphone distracted driving.

Research shows that nearly 9-in-10 people admit to using their smartphone while driving. People are doing much more than texting while behind the wheel.
