Maot Chitim

Dear Beth Jacob Family,

Our simcha on Pesach is not complete until we ensure that the needy have sufficient food and provisions for the holiday. This mitzvah of Maot Chitim -"money for wheat" and matzoh, wine and other expenses - has been performed by generations of Jews and is codified in the Shulchan Aruch as an essential mitzvah.

We encourage you to contribute for Maot Chitim by clicking online or by submitting a check to the shul office made out to "Beth Jacob" with "Maot Chittim" on the memo line.

There are many individuals and families in Los Angeles and Israel who rely on our support to help them make Yom Tov. We thank you for your care and generosity as we continue to be there for one another and help bring geulah to all.

Thank you,

Rabbi Topp
