32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
NEWSFLASH!!! “FOR YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER KNOWETH THAT YE HAVE NEED................................. OF ALL THESE THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
What “THINGS” was Jesus talkin' bout????

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Beloved, somehow, in the last few years, OUR TRUE GOSPEL has been prostituted!!!
It's called PROSPERITY GOSPEL-the insane idea that Godliness equals/results in financial and physical “prosperity/WEALTH...................
1 Timothy 6:3-5 (KJV)
3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
“SUPPOSING that gain is godliness???????” HUH??????????????????
The irony of this is that God NEVER promised us a rose garden AND a Mercedes!!!!
1 Timothy 6:9 (KJV)
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
I often think of my dear friend, Forrest Hill. He was a hard working man who fiercely loved his family and his God!!!
He used to host a music festival in his back yard of 29 acres called THE MUSIC FESTIVAL WAY BACK IN THE WOODS. Thousands of folk attended these twice annual events of which I was a small part of.
He HAD, (past tense), a BEAUTIFUL, fully restored antique tractor that he was immensely proud of! He had many spent hours and monies to bring this possession into value.
He died.
God only knows what happened to his beautiful tractor.
That is just one example-not saying it was wrong to obtain and work for to obtain-just that fact it is gone as he is passed.
That is the TRUTH of THIS LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The WONDERFUL TRUTH is that God does not guarantee TOMORROW-ONLY the TODAYS!!!!!!!!!!!

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
O, how I long to get to the place-if possible-to not worry about tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To live for today and TODAY only!!!!!!!!!!!!

8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

I have said and STRONGLY believe and adhere to a personal creed:
I BELIEVE there are two people who have no NEED of being rich..............
PREACHERS AND POLITICIANS!!!
BOTH of US are “supposedly” dedicated to public service-AMEN!!!!????
WE should have our NEEDS provided by the public largess but not excess!!!
There should NEVER be a PREACHER APPRECIATION DAY!! There SHOULD BE a PEW APPRECIATION DAY!!!
NUFF SAID-I COULD REALLY PREACH ON THIS.........................
Final thought!! That SAME GOD who provided ALL your NEEDS yesterday is the same God who is and will provide for ALL YOUR NEEDS today!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What we NEED to do is PRAY and BELIEVE that what Jesus SAID is TRUTH!!!
