COTA’s plan includes 500+ miles of sidewalk, bikeway and trail improvements, but did you know 150 miles are planned by 2030?

In fact, by 2030, COTA’s LinkUS initiative will:

  • Double the current regional investment in sidewalks and trails with more than $250 million dedicated to projects
  • Fund more than 150 miles of new sidewalks, trails and bikeways
  • Invest in projects in 35 jurisdictions, including 55 multi-jurisdictional projects
  • Build more than 80 projects, including sidewalks, shared-use paths for both bikes and pedestrians, bikeways, greenways and trails, safer crosswalks and upgraded bus stops

On Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., we will commemorate a decade of the revitalized Long St. Bridge and the inception of the Cultural Wall with a celebration including live music, local artists, food trucks and community resources.
