Our great days are merry and bright at Sunshine Village! We kept shining and spreading good cheer throughout the holidays to our friends and community.
We brought our handmade holiday decorations to The Wellington and artwork to The Soldiers Home. We've also been busy making ornaments for our Christmas trees, baking cookies, and dancing and caroling with our friends. We even had a visit from Santa and his pal, "Santapaws" aka Sophie Vanilla Cookie, during pet therapy!
We are so lucky to have wonderful supporters like you to help make dreams come true with donations to our Holiday Appeal or by choosing us while shopping for gifts on AmazonSmile. We look forward to making more memories in 2019! Thank you for your support of our great days - all year long. Happy New Year to all!
We give back! Our Litwin Center Program spread cheer by bringing their handmade holiday wreaths to The Wellington in Springfield.
Our Community Engagement Program presented the Chicopee Police with a hand-painted sign in support of their "Top on Cop" fundraiser for The Special Olympics.
As a part of their Hope Project, our Litwin Lane Program brought artwork, sang carols and visited with residents at The Soldiers Home.
Our Community Engagement Program let their creativity shine with a gorgeous display in the Chicopee Chamber of Commerce's window.
Individuals in our programs were proud to be featured artists in the Art Show held by the Holyoke/Chicopee Office of the Department of Developmental Services. Our programs also prepared food and made decorations to add to the celebration of unique abilities.
To stay fit, our Litwin Lane Program enjoys exercising at Planet Fitness, because working out is more fun with friends!
And Jobs, Too
