All is lost? Not So Fast!

DPBA Online General Meeting

JULY 25th AT 6:30 P.M.

Hi Dana Point Boaters,

We hope this newsletter finds you in high spirits as we continue our noble pursuit of truth and affordable rates in Dana Point Harbor. Today, we draw inspiration from the cinematic masterpiece titled "All Is Lost" and the indomitable spirit of Robert Redford to remind ourselves that even in the face of adversity, our cause remains steadfast.

In the 2013 film "All Is Lost," Robert Redford delivers a powerful and mesmerizing performance as a lone sailor fighting against the merciless forces of the ocean. Just like the character portrayed by Redford, we find ourselves navigating treacherous waters as we strive for justice in our legal actions.

Picture this: Instead of a solitary sailor on a storm-tossed vessel, we are a community bound together by a shared belief in pursuing justice for boaters' rights. Our metaphorical boat might suffer wounds, but we refuse to let it sink. Like Redford's character, we dig deep within ourselves, summoning resilience and determination.

In "All Is Lost," Redford's character must confront his mortality, battling nature's relentless onslaught. Similarly, we face seemingly insurmountable challenges in our fight for justice. However, just as the protagonist refuses to surrender, so do we. Our collective strength lies in our unwavering resolve to overcome obstacles, no matter how daunting they appear.

We must maintain sight of the tremendous impact our collective legal actions can have. We invite you to attend our online General Meeting on July 25th at 6:30 p.m. Kindly submit your questions here.

The very foundation of our legal system stands on the principle that justice should prevail, and we are the torchbearers of that belief. Please voice your concerns to Supervisor Foley (click here) and the Dana Point City Council (click here). Oversight of the harbor revitalization is the responsibility of our elected officials. Let's remind them of their duty!
