WE’RE HERE FOR YOU.

Let’s Play

There’s little doubt: we could all use a little more fun in our day. Stress and worry seems to be coming at us from every direction, whether we are trying to pay our bills, raise our children, preserve our livelihoods, or maintain our health and wellness. Thus, we must take care to infuse our lives with enjoyment. In our quest to do everything right, we must remember to also step back and have fun. At every age, we need to play.

Games have always been a beneficial pastime. Wikipedia notes that games are an ancient and “integral part of all cultures and are one of the oldest forms of human social interaction.”

However, in the past half-century, technology has dramatically changed the gaming landscape. Video games have replaced many other competitive, social activities, particularly for youngsters who have become seemingly obsessed with them.

As the video gaming industry grew, so too did concerns about the negative side effects of this form of play. For instance, the last thing we need is to become more sedentary. Meanwhile, video games can have benefits, too. Read today's Featured Article to find out what I mean.

And don't forget to wind your clocks back today.

We're here for you,

DR. PFEIFFER’S “THINK RIGHT”

Take time for work, it is the price of success.

Take time to think, it is the source of power.

Take time to play, it is the secret of youth.

Take time to read, it is the foundation of wisdom.

Take time to be friendly, it is the road to happiness.

Take time to dream, it’s the hitching your wagon to a star.

Take time to love, it is the highest joy of life.

Take time to laugh, it is the music of the soul.
