This Sunday's service on April 27th will feature the Ukulele Orchestra with Steve Davis, drums, performing When They Ring Those Golden Bells by Daniel de Marbelle.

The Suburban Music Study Club will host the final program of the club’s season on Sunday, May 4th at 2:00 pm: PIANO-fest! Their classical pianists will perform: Yuly Verbitsky, Luba Vasilyeva, and Alice Siqi Wan. Refreshments to follow the recital. All are invited to this free recital!

Adult Discussion Group

This Sunday, the Adult Discussion Group concludes its Lenten study of the Fruits of the Spirit. This week, it’s all about Love.

Whirl Kids

meet this Sunday!

Whirl Kids (4^th grade and younger) Children leave the 10:00 am worship service after the scripture reading and are led down the hallway to Classroom 6. Parents and other adults from our congregation lead the group in singing, Bible reading, a fun video, and crafts and activities related to the day’s scripture reading. Parents/caregivers pick their children up at the conclusion of the worship service.

Whirlkids meet the second and fourth sunday of each month.

(grades 5 - 12) meet at 11:15 am in the Wesley Room. Led by Matthew Beland and Pastor Sharon Yarger, this group gathers to explore the day’s scripture reading and current events topics, through conversation and activities designed for growing in community, and growing together in our faith.

Middle and high school grades meet every Sunday.

Food Distribution

A HUGE shout out and big THANK YOU to the amazing team from the ECLC school in Chatham. Last Wednesday, ECLC students and teachers dropped off about 10 large boxes of donations from a food drive they’d held. The following day they returned to sort and organize not only their own donations, but also the huge amount of donations we’d received from Chatham Middle School the previous week that were still lying in wait to be sorted and shelved.

We are incredibly grateful to the ECLC team for their amazing effort. They enjoyed the work experience and have agreed to return again when needed.

We love community teamwork here at the CUMC Food Pantry and Community Food Distribution!
