Advent Study Group

For Sunday’s Advent Small Group we conclude our “Voices of Advent” by listening to the “The Voices of Angels and Prophets: Revealing the Messiah”. According to the author, Matthew Skinner, Christmas can be seen as an Epiphany, a manifestation of God’s goodness and kindness. How did the Angels announce this manifestation, and what did the prophets of old say about it? Even if you’ve missed earlier Advent sessions, come to this one to hear how the Messiah was revealed. We’ll meet in the Asbury Room after worship, at 11:15 am

The first music program of 2026 in CUMC’s sanctuary will be Music For The New Year on Monday evening, January 5th at 7:00 p.m. with Merynda Adams, harp, and Elizabeth “Poppy” Song, violin. All are invited to this gentle recital in candlelight hosted by the Suburban Music Study Club. Audience members may light a candle of hope.
