Chatham United Methodist Church Friends and Congregation!

As we look toward the future of our church, the Trustees, the Church Council, the Finance Committee, and a specialized task force have begun to explore new ideas for outreach, fundraising, and enhancing the life of our church.

We’re collectively inviting you to share your voice through a short nine question survey. Your input - from both adults and youth -is incredibly valuable in helping us shape programs and events that reflect the needs and hopes of our congregation.

Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey—your thoughts will make a real difference!

During the Summer, soloists and small groups will be performing our anthems for Sundayservices. There will also be two opportunities to sing together with the Summer Choir on the Sundays of July 20 and August 10th! The group will meet at 9:00 a.m. to rehearse an easy-to learn piece of music. All are invited!

Summer services at Chatham UMC will feature a brief hymn sing to begin each service with hymn favorites requested by you! If you would like to send some hymn favorites for the list, email Peter Hill, Director of Music Ministries at petepiano@mac.com

New Food Panty Pick-Up Program

Would you like to donate food items to the food pantry but you don't have time? or you mean to, but forget? or maybe you are unable to get to the church to drop off? Well, Chatham High Schooler, Blake Zidle, has come up with a terrific plan to to make it easier to donate food and keep the CUMC Community Food Pantry stocked: He will drive to your home and pick up your non-perishable food donations. Blake is learning to drive so for now his mom will help him with pick-ups. But in the Fall, when he gets his drivers license, he's looking forward to running the program himself.

Blake has designed green reusable grocery bags that can be picked up from the church office, or from the food donation bin outside the back door. Please support his efforts. See flier below for details.
