Lenten Devotionals - You Can Contribute...
Due to overwhelmingly positive responses, Peter Huang & Kristina Pel á are heading up the creation of a Lenten Devotional Booklet for 2019 and we ask that YOU consider writing a submission.  No writing experience necessary!  All you need is a willing heart to try something new … Please contact Kristina Pelá via e-mail , text (310-941-2498) or home phone (310-375-9823) with your interest or any questions you may have. Lent begins March 6 2019.
Support Choir Section Leaders
Our choir has been enjoying the partnership of two new people--Lance Azusada and Nathan Remillard. These two young men are Choral Music Majors at USC. We were in need of some help in our tenor and bass sections, so we have created an internship with these two students. In the future you may see them conducting the choir on occasion, or possibly singing a solo (as they did Christmas Eve), and, most importantly, singing in the choir.
Would you Like to Contribute for Section Leaders?
St Francis has a history of hiring section leaders for the choir, but the current Music Budget does not have enough funds to use in that way. So several individuals have offered to give monthly contributions toward the stipends we are paying Lance and Nathan, for which we are very grateful. If you would like to help with this ministry, please consider either a one-time gift or a monthly gift to the Music Fund to help us continue to hire these fine musicians. They are helping us be stronger! Thanks! (Feel free to contact Jeannie Cobb with any questions.)
