This is your source for the latest info about Georgia Celebrates Quilts®, as we share news and details leading up to the 2026 Quilt Show on June 4-6, 2026. Beginning this month, the QS Insider will be emailed exclusively to ECQG members and will be published on the 10^th of each month. This information will not be repeated in the Basket Bulletin, our regular newsletter, which arrives in your email on the 15^th of the month, but there will be a link to the Quilt Show Insider. Many thanks to our Guild Communications Committee, who suggested this and will be producing the letter each month!

The 2026 Raffle Quilt Production committee has an exciting quilt in the planning stages! ECQG members are invited to pick up a block kit at the May meetings, and return the finished block at the June meetings. Each block will be numbered and labeled to assist the committee in assembling the quilt. The pattern, step-by-step instructions and a block-specific selection of fabrics will be ready to sew when you open the envelope! But it’s top secret – don’t show your finished block to anyone. The raffle quilt will be revealed at the October Guild meetings, beginning with the Evening meeting on October 30^th. 

Raffle Quilt In-Person Sales – This chairperson will be responsible for displaying the raffle quilt beginning with the debut at the October meetings, selling raffle tickets during both the evening and morning guild meetings beginning in October and through the show as well as working with the volunteers selling tickets during the quilt show. Between guild meetings and guild-related appearances, the raffle quilt will be stored in a sturdy wheeled suitcase for travel, along with a credit card reader and printed info about ECQG and Georgia Celebrates Quilts®. A strong, collapsible quilt stand is included.

Welcome the newest additions to the QS Committee – Lynn Camp will be serving as Guild Coordinator as Lisa Walker moves to QS Volunteer Coordinator. Sue Eisen is co-chairing the Basket Raffle along with Aliki Strakes. We have an exciting committee!!!
