Celebrating Precious' Graduation

Last month we had the pleasure of celebrating a graduation at Eden House!
Family, friends, Eden House staff, and supporters attended a touching ceremony held at Christ Church Cathedral where Precious was presented with her hard earned graduation certificate. Precious is now living in her very own apartment, furnished with donations from our incredible supporters!

We are so proud of Precious and commend her on her tenacity and commitment. She is absolutely one of a kind and we wish her only the best as she moves forward in her recovery!

Join us at the beautiful Il Mercato on Magazine St. for an elegant Fall fiesta for the benefit of Eden House. Enjoy an evening of live music, delicious food and drink, and dancing, all while ensuring a bright and impactful future for Eden House and the survivors we serve!

Welcoming New Staff
This month Eden House welcomed two new team members,
Taylor Pillow & Meg Wilder.

Taylor joined the team as Interim Assistant Director. She is an attorney licensed in Louisiana and has extensive experience helping vulnerable populations globally. In this position, Taylor plans to help expand Eden House's services and ability to serve vulnerable populations.

Meg joined the team as Program Assistant and came to Eden House as a part of The Young American Volunteer Program. She received her BS in Government and Global Studies from The College of William & Mary and is interested in exploring the relationship between nonprofit administration and public policy.

Seeking Donations
Eden House is growing as an organization! While expanding our residential capacity and welcoming new staff members, we ask our incredible supporters to lend a hand.
Our most needed items to assist with the expansion of Eden House are as follows:

  • Twin beds with frames
  • Computers, laptops, or ipads manufactured within the last 5 years
  • Long curtains
  • Curtain rods
  • Women's bathrobes
  • Women's slippers
