Transform Lives and Support Survivors
on GiveNOLA Day 2022!
GiveNOLA Day 2022 is TOMORROW!
Your GiveNOLA Day donation to Eden House will help provide brave survivors with safe housing, medical care, recovery services, and invaluable opportunities for a brighter future! This annual fundraiser hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation's raises money for New Orleans' nonprofits, making our region stronger and creating a thriving community for all.

Eden House and the women we serve are growing in so many ways. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we were able to open the doors of our second residence in January, doubling the number of survivors we can serve. Our latest exciting news is that we will soon expand our services to include an Emergency Shelter, where Eden House will provide short-term emergency housing and services for human trafficking victims who need immediate assistance in the Greater New Orleans area. This will be the only emergency shelter in our region designed specifically for adult victims of human trafficking.

We hope we can count on you to join us on this journey, by donating to our GiveNOLA 2022 fundraiser, running now until 11:59 pm on May 3rd!

April Happenings
Eden House welcomed three brave survivors into our Residential Program this month! We admire the bravery and strength we know it took to put themselves first and start the long journey to healing.

Welcome home to these courageous survivors!

Thank you to the incredible team of volunteers from Saint Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church, who spent their Spring Day of Service beautifying our backyard on April 2nd! SCAPC are longtime supporters of Eden House and we are so thankful for their continued friendship. The backyard has never looked more beautiful!

On April 21st, Eden House with the Junior League of New Orleans hosted a screening of the documentary film, “Surviving Sex Trafficking,” and a survivor Q&A panel following the film. At the event, Eden House staff were also proud to show off the amazing handiwork of residents who work at our social enterprise, Especially Eden! Thank you to all who attended for helping make this event a huge success!
Thank You to Our Generous Donors!

Thank you to the Oscar J. Tolmas Foundation for their generous grant that enabled Eden House to install a brand new security system for both of our residences! The new security cameras and advanced alarm systems will make Eden House safer, giving increased peace of mind to residents and staff and ensuring the protection of the women who live here. Thank you to this incredible organization for all you do to support nonprofits in our community!

Thank you to the Ben Franklin Feminist Club for hosting a period product drive for Eden House! We were blown away by the generosity of your supporters. Menstrual health products, a fundamental resource, are not covered by SNAP benefits and therefore pose a financial strain on our residents. Thank you for making menstrual health a priority and ensuring a sufficient supply of period supplies for Eden House!
Every donation makes a difference in the lives of the women we serve.
